Ingredients

Dough and Filling
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, cubed can substitute other melting cheeses if needed
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
Garlic Butter Topping
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly flatten each biscuit into a 3-4 inch circle.
  3. Place 1-2 slices of pepperoni, 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce, and one mozzarella cube in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Carefully pull the edges of the dough up around the filling, pinch to seal tightly, and roll them into a ball shape.
Cooking
  1. Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down in your air fryer basket, leaving space between them for air circulation.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Brush the garlic butter generously over the tops of the dough balls.
  3. Cook for 14-18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Finishing Touches
  1. Sprinkle the warm pizza bombs with grated parmesan and chopped parsley, then serve immediately with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket and check for doneness to avoid burning. Serve immediately for the best experience, but can be reheated as needed.
