  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts Optional; can be toasted for added flavor.
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce For drizzling on top.
  • 1/4 cup additional caramel For drizzling before serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box. Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix with melted butter and water or milk. Stir until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and optional chopped nuts.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Baking
  1. Bake according to the box instructions, typically for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  2. Allow brownies to cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with caramel sauce.
