Ingredients
  

For the Tea
  • 2–3 bags black tea (Assam, Darjeeling, or English Breakfast) Choose 3 bags for a bolder flavor.
  • 1 cup water Boil water before adding tea bags.
For the Milk
  • cups whole milk Warm to a near-simmer.
  • 1–2 teaspoons sugar Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the water in a small saucepan.
  2. Add 2–3 black tea bags and lower the heat to a gentle simmer. Let steep for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in 1½ cups of whole milk and heat gently, stirring occasionally, until steam rises and tiny bubbles form around the edges.
  4. Remove from heat, take out the tea bags, and stir in 1–2 teaspoons of sugar until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour into mugs and serve hot.

Notes

Serve it piping hot for the best experience. Refrigerate any leftovers and reheat gently on the stove without boiling.
