For the Tea Base
  • 4 cups green tea, brewed and chilled Ensure the tea is fully chilled before mixing.
  • 1/4 cup honey Optional, use if the melon is not sweet enough.
For the Puree
  • 2 cups honeydew melon, cubed Use ripe honeydew for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves Essential for the refreshing flavor.
For Serving
  • Ice cubes Ice cubes Use plenty for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Blend the honeydew and mint until glossy (30–60 seconds).
  2. Add the cubed honeydew and mint leaves to a blender. Blend until the mixture looks smooth and shiny, creating a pourable puree.
Mixing
  1. Pour the chilled green tea into a large pitcher, then add the honeydew-mint puree. Stir well for 20–30 seconds until everything is evenly mixed.
  2. Taste the tea. If you want it sweeter, add honey and stir until fully dissolved.
Serving
  1. Fill glasses generously with ice cubes and pour the tea over. Garnish with extra mint leaves or honeydew cubes if desired.

Notes

For best results, start with chilled tea and ensure the puree is silky. You can also skip honey for a lighter flavor or add more mint for a herbal hint.
