Ingredients
Method
Make the Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the water while mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
Knead the Dough
- Knead for about 5 minutes until the dough looks smoother and feels elastic.
Rest the Dough
- Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Mix the Filling
- In another bowl, combine ground meat, chopped vegetables, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix until evenly distributed.
Roll and Cut Wrappers
- Roll out the rested dough and cut it into circles.
Fill, Fold, and Seal
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, fold the wrapper over and seal the edges.
Cook Dumplings
- Cook using your preferred method: Steam for 15 minutes; boil for 8-10 minutes; or pan-fry until golden brown.
Serve
- Serve warm with a dipping sauce.
Notes
Don't skip the rest for the dough; filling portions should be small to prevent leaks; seal edges firmly.
