Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 2 tbsp honey Can be substituted with maple syrup.
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil Adds a nutty flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh.
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the marinade, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer in the basket.
  2. Air fry the chicken for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  3. While the chicken is cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the broccoli and red bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  4. Once the chicken is done, mix it with the stir-fried vegetables and serve hot. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For best results: let the chicken marinate to deepen flavors, watch the air fryer to prevent overcooking, slice vegetables uniformly, and consider adding roasted nuts or seeds for extra crunch.
