- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until the texture is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add in the vanilla extract and salt, then continue to mix until well combined; the mixture should remain fluffy.
- Gradually add in the heat-treated flour, stirring carefully until the mixture forms a thick dough, almost like traditional cookie dough.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container to keep it fresh. Does well in refrigerator for up to one week, and can be frozen for up to three months.
