Ingredients
  

Egg and Dairy Base
  • 12 large large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Add-ins
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can substitute with another shreddable cheese.
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup cooked sausage Use only cooked sausage.
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns Break up clumps while mixing.
Seasonings
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes Can reduce for milder heat.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven and prepare your baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes until fully blended.
  3. Fold in shredded cheddar, diced ham, cooked sausage, and frozen hash browns until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and level it out evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake until the center is set and lightly golden on top.
  2. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, whisk spices into the eggs first, use already cooked sausage, and let the casserole rest before cutting for neat slices.
