Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and thinly slice the onion into rings or strips, aiming for uniform thickness.
  2. In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Toss the onion slices in the mixture until they are completely coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with a light coat of cooking spray or apply a small amount of oil.
  3. Place the coated onions in a single layer in the basket, working in batches if needed.
  4. Air fry the onions for 15–20 minutes, shaking or stirring halfway through to ensure even browning.
  5. Once golden brown and crispy, carefully remove the onions and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try using seasoned flour instead of plain all-purpose flour. Ensure that onion slices are uniform for even cooking and crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
