- Wash, core, and slice the apples into fry-shaped sticks.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and sugar until evenly distributed.
- Coat the apple sticks in the flour mixture until covered.
- If using breadcrumbs, dip the floured apples into the breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil.
Cooking
- Arrange apple fries in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness; the coating should be dry and golden, apples tender.
Serving
- Let them cool for a minute or two before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the crispiest coating. For best results, keep apple cuts consistent and don’t skip flipping them halfway through cooking. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer.
