  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until evenly mixed.
Mixing
  1. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until fully incorporated, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk, mixing gently until just combined.
Layering and Baking
  1. Spoon half the batter into the prepared bundt pan and level it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
  3. Top with the remaining batter and smooth gently without disturbing the swirl.
  4. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let the cake cool in the pan before inverting it onto a plate.
  2. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature, best enjoyed with coffee or tea.

Notes

For the best results, grease every ridge of the bundt pan, ensure the butter is softened properly, and avoid overmixing the batter.
