Ingredients
  

Muffin Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Base for a light and fluffy texture
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Enhances the sweetness

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted For better flavor balance
  • 1 cup milk Can substitute yogurt
  • 2 large eggs Fresh eggs create a rich batter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor
Crumble Topping
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar For additional sweetness
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats Adds texture to the topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring until just combined; some lumps are fine.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, rolled oats, and cinnamon for the crumble topping.
Baking
  1. Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with the batter and sprinkle the crumble mixture on top.
  2. Bake in the air fryer for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Allow muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use room-temperature ingredients for best results and experiment with different spices or add-ins. Store in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze individually for later use.
