Dough and Filling
  • 1 package crescent roll dough Use refrigerated dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it is fully softened for a smooth filling
  • 1/4 cup sugar For sweetening the filling
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds flavor to the filling
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar For coating the rolls
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted Helps cinnamon sugar adhere
Optional Topping
  • Icing for drizzling Optional, for decoration and added sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Assembly
  1. Spoon a small amount of filling onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll up toward the point.
  2. Dip each roll into melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar until well coated.
  3. Place the coated rolls on your prepared baking sheet with space between them.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and the tops look dry and set.
  2. Optionally drizzle with icing and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator. Best served warm. Reheat briefly for best texture.
