Ingredients

  • 2 pieces cooked chicken breasts, shredded Make sure they are evenly shredded for even heating.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Cheddar for a sharper flavor, mozzarella for extra stretch.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Minced garlic adds great flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Used to sauté the garlic.
  • Salt to taste Salt Season to preference.
  • Pepper to taste Pepper Season to preference.
For the Wraps
  • 4 large tortillas Wraps evenly around the filling.
  • 1 cup spinach or lettuce Keep the greens dry for crunch.

Preparation
  1. Warm the garlic: Set a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Heat the chicken: Add the shredded cooked chicken to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, then stir until heated through.
  3. Set up the tortillas: Lay the tortillas on a flat surface. Add a layer of spinach or lettuce down the center.
  4. Fill and cheese: Spoon the warm garlic chicken over the greens, then sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  5. Roll into wraps: Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap.
  6. Optional: grill for melt + crunch: Place the wraps seam-side down in a pan and grill for a few minutes on each side until lightly browned.
  7. Slice and serve: Slice in half and serve warm while the cheese is still stretchy.

Tips for Best Results: Keep the garlic moving while sautéing, shred the chicken finely, keep greens dry to avoid sogginess, and avoid overfilling the wraps.
