Main ingredients
  • 2 slices slices of bread Any standard sliced bread works; thicker slices may need longer cooking time.
  • 2 pieces eggs Aim to crack the egg in the center of the bread.
  • to taste Salt Season according to your preference.
  • to taste Pepper Season according to your preference.
  • as needed Butter or oil For greasing the air fryer basket.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease the basket with butter or oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Place the two slices of bread flat in the basket in a single layer.
  4. Crack one egg into the center of each slice of bread.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the eggs.
  6. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, checking for doneness at 6 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove from the basket and serve warm.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture. Toast loses crispness as it sits, and yolks may firm up if reheated. Optional to serve with an extra pinch of salt and pepper.
